i found success evening out costs with shipping so instead of charging 5 for shipping on a 10$ item i would sell for 12.50 and have 2.50 shipping and it sells better iv'e found...
. . . And even better if you do $15 + free shipping.

I bought something that turned out to be faulty, seller ignored my emails, and ignored the case, I won, returned it and got refunded. Seller just left me a bad feedback that I am a scammer and to beware etc, (for some reason he left a "positive" feedback but with all this scammer beware wording ??) Would ebay remove it, if I explained to them that he did not respond to the case etc?

You can now make your feedback private so no one will see that review.

Congrats on having it removed. No, you can only make all of your feedback private. As a seller, I really don't like that option, as I like to see what kind of buyer I'm dealing with...

Anybody has any experience with paypal chargebacks as a seller? Once the money has been transferred to my bank account- what's the worst paypal can do to me if I just ignore it? Can they force me to pay?

I was scammed a while ago, when I stupidly decided to sell e-gift card codes on ebay. Now, it seems that one of the buyers is doing a chargeback.

Paypal will put a negative balance on your account, as restrict your account until you pay up the balance owed

I assume you have no way of proving it was shipped.

It was never shipped- it was emailed.

When buyers tried to reverse  the charge - I simply mailed out a USPS certified letter to them containing a printout of the email I sent them, and won the case. But now it's different because it's a chargeback. This time I think it is the credit card company that decides who's right. I could do the same thing again and mail it out, but I'm not sure it'll work now...

With a Chargback, if you have tracking to the confirmed shipping address, Paypal will cover it (no matter what the CC company decides)

I sold an iPhone to a dude who claimed it didn't work. It worked when I sent it to him.

I think he swapped it out for a nonworking phone and sent that back to me.
I have no way to check the serial number as it doesn't turn on.

What are my options?

Usually it's printed on a sticker under the battery.

The IMEI and Serial is written on the back of the phone.

I know the serial number of the phone that was attached to my account but I have no way of knowing the serial number of the phone that is currently in my possession because the thing won't turn on.
