Is eBay going to do anything about bidders winning auctions and not paying???

It's time to put an end to this!!!

When I search for the item I have for sale, I see my item. But when I click on "sold listings" my item is not there - even though I've sold many. What's going on?

You can open an unpaid item case every time people don't pay within a certain number of days of winning the auction. You can also set your auction to not allow buyers who have more then 2 or 3 unpaid item cases open against them. It won't prevent people from bidding and not paying but it will certainly decrease the chances IMHO. It's also why I only do buy it now :)

I normally don't ship to PO Boxes but this buyer has 100% positive feedback and 833 ratings. Is there anything to know or be concerned about?

Did anyone realize that you can't access anymore the daily deals from the Android app?
Or is it just my phone?

When setting up a listing using the auction and the price is to low for you liking can you ask a friend to outbid the next guy and simply agree to cancel the transaction either after it's completed by a return or even right away? Would this be a fool proof way (once in a while of course) to make sure you won't get unlucky with the bidding?

Once you're doing that, why not offer to the original bidder as a Second Chance offer? But I'm pretty sure that both are against the T&C. I'll let someone else chime in about the ethics.

A simple general Ebay question!

When I'm putting a max bid of $400 (let's say) but it ends at $300 will I need to pay my mmax bid of $400 or oonly the $300?

If the second highest bid was $299, you will be the winner at $300.

Is there a way to offer Free Shipping to the U.S., but charge for shipping worldwide?

Yes. It's easy to do in the app or website - when listing the item, designate the first shipping option to be that you want domestic shipping to be free. For the second shipping option, designate it to be for international shipping, and then select the service and/or price as well as the countries you are willing to ship to. Personally I found that it's easier to do on the iPhone app then the website but that's my opinion.

Why doesn't eBay have it set up that when a bidder wins an auction the seller automatically gets paid from the winners account???

I never really sold on eBay before, so I have a n00b question. Somebody from Indonesia just bought an iPhone 4 for $110. I only listed shipping to the US. He has a lot of positive feedback - all as a buyer - but there were a few from a while back that said "bad buyer" and the like. The buyer contacted me and told me to use "custom 1st class mail international for $17". My questions are:

1) How would you recommend I ship it?
2) Is there any way to track it?
3) Anything else I should know?
