Future flights on the route will soon be renumbered

Quote
From March 14, Malaysia Airlines will be renumbering its Kuala Lumpur to -Beijing flight. The new number will be MH318 which replaces MH370.

The return MH371 flight becomes MH319.

Indeed. That's basically impossible.

Impossible? Why?

There is possible evidence now of the plane having flown 100 miles to the west. If it can make it that far without being detected, it could have very well landed.

Don't get me wrong. The logical story here is that the plane crashed and probably sunk, but there is always a chance...

Notice the modifier before impossible.

I'm no prophet.
