Right but in Yiddish people say "leinin Krias Shima", so that's worse... Either way lets get this thread back on topic...

Applied for bgr 3 weeks after getting approved for 1. App was canceled reason was you have reached the maximum number and type of cards that we will approve within the period of a few months.
How long do I have to wait?

will try after 60 days. Application from the link that requires login is supposed to expire before 90 days I think by 1/26

Why is this thread still alive? Either churning is dead and we all know it or there are some exceptions and those are not dead so they don't belong here

Does Amex really enforce their, no more then 4 Credit cards at a time rule ?
I have 4 personal credit cards.
Just got approved for another 3 credit cards.
Funny thing is for the blue business card, I got declined bec. of the 4 cc rule, and had to close my spg biz to get approved for that.
So I just got a letter, declining my blue business card bec. I have more then 4 open credit cards - 6 to be exact. And that's after getting approved for 3 more while already having 4 open.
When I originally called recon they gave me the above reason, and said after I close one of my cc I can recon the blue business app. So I closed my SPG Biz, which at the time left me with 3 credit cards, reconed, and the app got sent to back office, from which I just got the decline letter.
Is there anyway to have my SPG Biz card reopened, or will they decline it bec. of the 4 credit card rule ?
Life is as good as you make it...

You can try reinstating it.

FTR: If you apply for the Ameriprise Platinum you will get the bonus even if you'd had the regular Platinum in the past.
Is it the same vice versa?
Anyone knows the answer?

+1

Doesn't have to do with which one is first and second. They are separate products and thus should give separate sign up bonuses.

If you didn't have it yet, sure. It's 2 different products.

Sorry if this has been asked and answered - I skimmed the last several pages and haven't seen it.  If I apply for a business card I've already had using a different EIN, can I get the bonus?  Anyone know from experience?

Thanks!
