Award ticket on Flying Blue gold

I used a Flying Blue Gold account to book an award tkt  TLV-NYC via Paris
When I booked the ticket I noticed it said there was a 2 piece luggage allowance.
On the E Ticket it says 1 checked in luggage
Anyone have experience with this? and what other perks (if any) do I get for using a gold account?

As far as my experience goes, even a coach ticket booked from a gold/plat acc gets 2 pcs

Looking to book a one way ticket from NYC to tlv on April 27 or 28. Right now its 50k points. Anybody know if its likely to go down ? Any other good choice for a one way ?thanx

ashers good luck getting 2. sometimes they let and sometimes they dont. but regardless if the person wants to try 2 (ive had plenty of success stories and plenty of non success stories) they should print out a paper that says their allowed to. and IF for wtvr reason they finally dont let (ive had that also) just pay with an amex card and fight it after (had success with that)
what AF/DL will say is that they only allow 1 piece and they will confirm that the person traveling wasnt even the account holder that has the gold account. cant say you'll get anywhere with them on that account.. but i usually tell pple to chance it and pay with an amex if all doesnt go well. ive had more success leaving israel> rather than returning to israel from NY.

Try printing boarding pass from home, usually says status on them.

Good idea, get what I can out of Amex while it lasts....
