Reminds me of discussions I used to have with my yungerman brother about looking down on others, and how it seems to be more prevalent in the kollel community than in my community. He responded that I was looking down on him for looking down at others. It gave me pause and I'm still unsure how I feel about that claim.

Precisely. And that's what I believe JJ is saying. But that is exactly the torturous position that I personally believe cannot be sustained.

So if I'm a die-hard racist and member of KKK who despises even cars that are black, and someone pulls me aside and tells me that just perhaps I should be try to see things from a different perspective, to be a bit more open-minded, I can in good logical conscience retort: "Don't be judgmental of me, you ridiculously generous and tolerant person, you! maybe you're the one who needs to have a bit more unfounded hate in your life."

@Sky121 What you said I agree with @Aaron to me the bottom line is we all need boundaries. I don't claim to be totally open minded. But as for seeing others views if they are racist, hateful, or judgmental I have a pretty good idea that I don't agree with that person.

If you are saying to accept and love people and your little bro is saying no don't talk to them they are kofrim, than it is clear to me who is being close minded.

I have more to say and it's hard to pinpoint with this headache, but I appreciate accepting and loving values, while I abhor condescending and hateful values. Everything judged on a case by case basis. (I do hate Nazis

In regards to Moshe123 I was just trying to show what is in his mind, not what I think. Like sky121 said he was raised that way so we should also jugde him with some favor.

To clarify what im saying, I do believe MO is part of the same religion that i am apart of. I am in contact with them very often. I do believe they are as equal as i am, we have just diff views on diff matters, but that doesnt bother me.

All that bothers me is that rabbi fink seems to be accusing and making false allegations that i cant believe someone would make without doing the proper research. Plus, he is not MO, he is a person who has a different view completely than a jew should be having.

I think this posts contradicts other posts you have made.

Yes, everybody has their own beliefs, but some are more valid than others. Not all beliefs need to be respected.

I think that if he intentionally rescheduled the flight in a well documented manner due to religious beliefs
and thereby saved his life and Dan knew the people involved, then yes - I believe that he would do so --
However, the caveat would be that it would be against one's religion to fly.

IIRC, the Jewish people (and not the Catholic people) have the prohibition against flying on certain days.
Therefore, due to those circumstances, there would most probably not be a DDMS posting for that exact situation.
