Is it legal to record a conversation without the other persons knowledge?

I'm not a lawyer but it varies by state.
Google " one party consent state"
Always praying for delayed baggage.

In NJ.
Google says it is legal.
Any lawyer that can confirm?

Thanks. Did you confirm with a lawyer?

A company that agreed to compensate me, after telling them I have a recording of how they lied to me, asked me if I can provide them with the recording.
I just want to make sure that I'm not going to get into trouble.

How would one's NYS Unemployment benefit rate be effected if they were to n accept a job working 10 hours a week?
Would it matter if the 10 hours were all on one day or if it was spread of several days?

Where can I find a DIY fill-in-your-own halachically valid will document? Anywhere online?

P.s. I understand it's ideal to hire a lawyer. But perfection is the enemy of the good. Better something standard/generic than nothing at all, which is the current situation for many including myself. Thanks.

Pretty worthless w/o a lawyer. Ask around and you'll unfortunately hear many awful stories.

You'll still qualify for partial unemployment and doesn't matter how the 10 hrs are spread

Not an NY lawyer, but this seems to be the statute. https://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/laws/EPT/3-2.1

If I'm making a website, can I use pictures of a hotel from their website without permission? What about a state agency's photo or logo, like a park? And lastly, can I use a state agency logo to be printed on a t-shirt to sell without permission?
Jury Duty: Nothing to do there but chill and write a TR. Kinda like the beach but missing the view and ocean breeze.

Are there any limitations on the nature of personal (employee) information an employer is allowed to insist on collecting, as condition of continued employment (in NYS)?

For employer demanding employees consent to additional background checks on existing employees, and assuming no long-term contract/employment at will.

In regards to a residential real estate contract in state of NY,  if it’s been 45 days since the “on or about closing date” and seller just  keeps pushing off and stalling the closing date, is that a breach of contract that would allow us to just walk away? Our attorney is away and we need to put in an offer on a different home today…

You need to serve a time of essence notice which would typically give the seller 30 days to perform.
