Reminds me of a conversation with a rebbi in a MO boys highschool. The school won't allow filtered internet....
 He has to deal with a class full of porn addicts. This probably makes them less likely to be child molesters.

He said "I wana see you're nose in the gemara" I stuck my nose to the gemara and said "like this?" and bam he pushed my nose in so hard I was bleeding.

Naw im not angry at him,  any ways who teaches 8 year olds makos? I recall the teacher explaining the end of the perek where eidim actually have to see the act of intercourse, I got more sex ed from gemara than any thing else

I was a wise guy with ADD.. they didnt know what to do with me.. different story for the shrinks.. I was mostly bothered by the fact that they treated in depth questions as a nuisance, and every one in class would be like "hey shut up we wana go to recess"

I miss yeshiva actually, I miss the beirach moshe and reb shlomo of bobbov, the pupa rebbe and the kaliver rebbe..and on and on.. see I dont only have disdain for chareidim

Reb Shlomo was a giant, his smile has always encouraged me, the Beirach Moshe was less approachable, more stern.

When we were kids we had a story tape (it was yellow) and was the true story with medrashim and was very educational. Most of the above mentioned issues Do not apply to tapes. We knew almost all Shmuel kunda by heart
