Either reports are exaggerated or that's not his car.  There is NO way that car landed upside down or fell 60 feet.
+1. That looks like a head-on collision.

Relax, upside down as in front down and sliding down an embankment and then hitting a tree is still called going over a cliff to most. No i don't know that that's what happened.

Sick people.

Relax. After all the pictures in the stark thread proved to be false, it is possible for people to have doubts.
No one was belittling this tragedy.

You got me all wrong, brother. I was agreeing. The sick people are the ones posting fake pictures.

I'm actually more inclined to believe it's an actual picture but reports were embellished.

the picture is definitely a Kia Optima with NY plates.
Not so shver to look like that after going down a 60' mountain, unless it was really a cliff. But who knows

That particular area actually has [ETA: Had] a lot of snow, the roads were covered when we first started searching....(which is why I kept mentioning the tire tracks I saw)

the tire tracks are a big indicator of recent travel - Of course those should have been traced.
Also, the snow that's been there for 10+ days is an indicator that all identifying features of a person would be 100% intact,
even more so than the water submersion preservation that the S"A was talking about. They didn't have 1-2 months of snow in Europe, but we do in NY.

Europe?  :o
S"A: Written in 1563 in Eretz Yisrael and published in Italy (Europe). Perhaps neither place has/had much snow in the livable Jewish villages, imo..
Submerged in water, one may have a variance in identifying properties after several days, as mentioned in the S"A.
however the NY temperatures in a car location would keep the indentifiable features intact for much longer for the purposes of ruling out an 'agunah' situation (after missing for 10 days) as listed in this thread.
