Not taking the last leg from Canada to USA
« on: March 18, 2014, 12:17:30 PM »
Canada customs works just like the US in that all luggage must be claimed at point of entry into Canada, even if continuing on to the US

Could anyone confirm that?

Depends on airport and airline

Yes

http://www.torontopearson.com/Connecting_from_usa.aspx#
Any international flight entering Canada will require you to claim your baggage and clear customs no mater where you are continuing on to. Not sure what you are saying that is different than that (unless you mean domestic within Canada followed by a flight to the US, then yes, it depends on which airport)
