Dan,

We love you immensely and you have helped me achieve so many goals I didn't even know I had (such as the SPG suite in Wrigley last year). I was excited to watch/read your adventure about Game 7's first pitch, even if the last pitch didn't quite go as planned. This year I've been saving up SPG points with the hope of achieving some more dreams, esp in light of some of the new auctions they released (ASG, first pitch, etc

).

Is there any way, pretty pretty pretty please, that you can avoid advertising these new auctions on the DDMS and driving up the auction prices? Help us achieve our sports dreams the way you achieved yours!! Pleeeease!

What's the need to publicize this? There have been 5 or 6 posts about first pitch at WS G7 and the stolen second base? Just to reiterate links for Amex cards? Would one more week have been such a big deal? And is it just a coincidence that this post went live right after the national anthem auction ended?

I'm not planning on bidding I was just curious what you were going for.

I know it's hard to believe but Dan is entitled to make a living. If he was taking personal requests from each person on ddf with what to post or what not to post the main site would just be a copy of SD.

The only time when Dan refrains from posting is if something will get killed by him posting it. That isn't the case here.

Also I'm sure the only way you know about this is from one of Dans MS posts. So now that you learned about it he shouldn't let anyone else know about it?

Anyone who has bid on spg moments and won, knows that 99% of the bidding happens AFTER the auction end time. They extend the auction by 5 minutes every time someone bids... The prices start going much higher within the hour before its scheduled to end

If you read other CC/points/travel blogs you'll see that Dan is one of the least credit card link pushers out there.

I actually tend to agree more with Mochjas than with Amusch. Last year I went to a suite at Wrigley for a Mets-Cubs game, and had the time of my life, thanks to DDMS. I started banking points for a big time Mets moment and got frustrated unfairly when I feared that wouldn't happen. I apologize and am excited to take some swings with Keith, at a price I anticipated paying before the DDMS post. Thank you Dan for helping make this happen, and hope there are no hard feelings.

As you all may recall, I hate the DDMS posts about these moments. I didn't mind the MSG ones bc I wasn't planning on bidding, but PLEASE don't post the mets one I anticipate any day:
