Been discussing this on FB with the guys...

It actually says "upgrading to "Bed Like" seats"
Where does it say flat beds?

I can't wait to see the new faux leather first class either  ::)

I was looking pretty hard at the picture trying to figure out if that is really 180 degrees flat.
Oh and first class looks even worse than business. I guess you pay another few $$ to get the minibar.

Sad really. Just completely not competitive.

It's unreal.

That F class looks just as inviting as Delta's J product on the same route, perhaps less so.

It doesn't say its 180 degrees, but rather "Bed Like", hence the like

Definitely doesn't look flat with this pic.

The business class is perfectly in line with Air France, Lufthansa, KLM, and a few other European carriers.

Air France is in the process of retrofitting to these:

Lufthansa is in the process of retrofitting to these:

Swiss already has these:

Etc etc.

LY  new seats don't measure up, much less their old ones.

Agree entirely with AJK. Most other airlines that are retrofitting their cabins in J are blowing LY out of the water.  It is true that some are still in the process, and in the case of KLM, they may be back there with LY in lack of competitiveness, but most other airlines are getting their longhaul J seats in line with what travellers currently expect.
