Odd credit limit
« on: March 19, 2014, 06:37:25 PM »
I just noticed that one of my Citi cards has a limit of $xx,675.76.

Never noticed that before, nor have I ever requested an increase.  Is it normal to have such a strange number?

Limit.  No current balance or pending charges.

Did you shift from it while it had a balance?

One possibility is that there is a pending charge that is too recent for it to appear even under pending charges.
Another (less likely) possibility is that you accidentally made a payment for an odd amount, thereby upping the credit limit to an odd amount.

If you ever clicked thru to raise limit with no pull, they'd raise based on % of credit limit used possibly similar to Amex no limit...

Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

I called and spoke with a rep.  They said it was odd and probably a distracted entry and they just pushed it up to $700 even.
