Is there anyway to get a notice when a response is made on my blackberry or do I have to guess whenever I think there should be a response?

It'll email you a notice... That should show up on your BB

when replying to a topic, use reply (instead of "quick reply"), and click on "Additional Options..." and select "notify..."

or just click the "notify" button on the top or bottom of the current topic you're reading..
