retrieving miles from summer flight - Iberia

I flew Iberia in the summer but didn't do anything to get miles. Is there a way I can retrieve them now?

Well firstly are you a member of any OW programs and were you a member when you took the flights? Iberia is part of OW (OneWorld alliance) so if you have aa or ba or lan miles etc... you should call the program you accumulate with (or want to accumulate with) to find out how far back they allow you to go to get miles. If you are not a member of any program I doubt they will allow you to create an account now and get credit for a flight taken in the summer. Maybe Iberia's own program but doubtful. I don't have experience with this, I'm just trying to help you get started with some info.

Thanks. I actually don't have accounts with either. I'm starting to wake up now to the whole miles game so I'll try making an account with both programs and see what happens.

Time to start digging up old papers. If I do find the boarding passes can I get the miles on the ticket just under my name or I can get my companion's also?

you cannot get for his/hers. btw you could credit those miles to any one world carrier including aa. try calling up iberia before you search for the boarding passes. maybe they could do it automatically

I would go on the few oneworld sites aa.com ba.com etc, and go to their faq, and look for "claim missing miles", and it will clearly state how far back one can go.
