That would require access to the F lounge though....

Is a 10.5 hour layover enough time for the dune bashing and to see some of the city? Or can only do one?

Aside from the Al Safawa (which seems to be closed because of Covid), any other place to spend the night airside at the airport?

Doesn't look like visitors are allowed into Qatar to stay at a local hotel.

Have a flight connecting in DOH Thursday night, planning for a worst case scenario… is there any Jewish life/kosher food, if we get stuck there over shabbos?

No. Just fly to Dubai

No. Just fly to Dubai
That's where I'm flying from...The most award options I'm seeing to my destination are with QR via DOH.
I guess it's not worth risking a Thursday night flight out of DOH.

Is it safe to fly Qatar these days, with a 5-hour layover in DOH? If yes, do I need to be careful about looking Jewish and/or davening on the plane?

Generally speaking, Stopovers where you stay in Airport are usually not an issue no matter what country you’re in. With that being said, Qatar is one place that during this war I’d personally stay away from. Besides for housing the heads of Hamas, the Qataris applaud and celebrate Hinyeh and Co. Those are the people you’ll stand on line next to. I’ll pass and even pay more to go through DXB, AUH, ADD, CMB, DEL, BOM etc personally.

Any updates on this?

We ended up going in August without any problems. Cute story: We tried to go "undercover," but to our surprise the flight had 30+ Lubavitchers in full garb who were on their way to Almaty, Kazhakstan to daven at the kever of the Rebbe's father there on his yahrtzeit! We ended up taking over the lounge in DOH and made a minyan for maariv and they made l'chaims and learned chassidus in Yiddish!

I believe that @Something Fishy was also just there and actually left the airport for a car race and midnight dune bashing.
