Lock installing apps + remove browser + add apps you need (possible rules: no games, no sports, no entertainment, etc.).
[Occasionally an app will have a built in browser/or need to access a certain website - just go back in to settings (with password) and add that website].
There is time restrictions and more features too.

Yes, in the past, on my s8. After calling them, they temporarily shut off the filter and it worked.

Dear GenTech User
This communication, though coming Purim time, is no laughing matter. As a Gentech customer, you know the dangers that current technology presents to our lives and future generations, and by using our filtering solutions and protections on your devices, you play a big role in the mission to minimize the risks inherent in current technology.

You, our user, want excellent filtering, using the most advanced technology, supported by top quality customer service, and customizable to your individual needs. GenTech has already proven that it can provide a unique, customizable product for all platforms and all communities around the world with a high level of support. Our primary goal is to continue to enhance the product and service, based more on its benefit to the user, than its cost. Our objective is to ensure a GenTech user feels cared for, well-serviced and privileged to own a GenTech filtered device. We have always tried to give our customers the best possible product and the best possible support.

GenTech is continually concerned about the future and advancing its products for newer technology to provide filtering responses to increased automation, live streaming, social media, entertainment and the concurrent security challenges. Necessary investments in these areas are extremely costly but worthy, and are in fact required for our lives and future. We dont want the cost to limit potential additional advancements and protection - things that are necessary and are requested and desired by our users. Its self understood that cost will affect options at our disposal and thus their quality.

Thus, the point of this communication: Weve held off as long as we could, but at this point where cost prevents necessary quality we must address cost. We can no longer afford to provide low cost filtering while continually advancing the quality of product or support.

To continue staying current with the challenges of the fast-moving and changing technology world, we must increase our pricing minimally so that our users continue to get what we know is necessary and what they need and want. At the same time we will add some reduced pricing options.

New Standard Filter price for all devices $38.97 per Quarter (effective on your next license renewal).
10% discount when paid annually.
15% discount for accounts with 3 or 4 devices.
20% discount for accounts with 5 devices or more.
New option of a Monthly License for $12.99
For Android devices: $84.99 per year for Apps-only mode.
Free: Block All Data on all platforms (available thru TAG)
50% discount for computers and Apple devices - for "Email Only".
You may request a refund of your charge within the first 30 days of your license renewal, if you no longer want the service. Please review our refund policy online @ gentechsolution.com
Thank You for using GenTech, and a Frielichen Purim!

Is there a free parental control app for iPhones that is like the Family Link app for Android? I want to be able to set limits as to when my kid can access the phone but still always be able to call/text.

Thanks

Gentech is pretty good from what I hear. I don't advise Netspark.
I'm not who you think I am.

To protect my teenage children, I'm looking to filter a Kindle Fire and an iphone5.
We also have a PC using K-9.
What will filter the browser?

IPhone has a great built in restrictriction system which is almost fool proof.
To have a decent filter on the Fire you'll need a paid (not cheap) membership.

Ha, give me any iPhone and I can find you the restrictions code in as much time as it takes to back up the phone to my computer.

They could always change the encryption with any new ios but they haven't changed it as of ios 10, assuming we're talking about the same thing.
