I have gentech for my iPhone. One annoying thing is that almost all the apps on my Apple Watch don't work.

Gentech says they don't support the watch, but given that the watch is an extension of the iPhone and doesn't work without it, so they should be able to make these apps work as well.

I didn`t mock anyone I just put it as a point for people looking thru the thread hopefully people will understand why you need to spend on a filter nothing to do with your question it`s a buildup of questions and future questions what i`m answering (I didn`t qoute it because its not on you)
You might need to spend, but cheaper is not necessarily worse (which is what people are looking for here.) Techloq is cheaper than the Livengent based ones and is actually even better....

Yes and no. The answer was that a real normal filter (not a joke that your child could disable... and in general it is not actually filtering well) costs money.

But as a K9 replacement (and to point out, K9 was indeed also quite a joke) someone somewhere mentioned Kurupira:
http://kurupira.net/en/software_webfilter_block_websites_parentalcontrol_print.php

If you try it you can tell us how it is.

1 - You mean better than Gentech, Netspark and Nativ?
2 - Can you please elaborate in what way Techloq is better?

Thank you.

Speed, not heavy on the PC resources, simple logical categories and great service.

Blocksi.
It can be tricky to set up, and you need the book to be managed in order to prevent a wipe.

Yes.

I (personally and heard from friends I have recommended it to) found it to be faster (doesn't slow anything on the PC, Nativ definitely does sometimes, and internet speed is also solid), they have faster block page response times, and support is friendly and helpful.

Besides the point that it is much easier to set up (you can install it yourself, and it takes a few minutes) and they are a bit cheaper.

I believe for 2 computers Nativ is cheaper.
Am I making a mistake?

Possible.

The cheaper part was mainly comparing to the Livigent based ones.

Here's a vote for Techloq.
Their response time and customer service is superb.
Would be amazing to have Techloq for android. Gentech doesn't compare :(

Have you tried Nativ and/or Netspark for a computer?
If yes, how do they compare to Techloq & Gentech - in your experience?
Thanks.

Don't touch netspark for a computer. It takes over all aspects of the pc etc.

Nativ is OK for specific purposes but can bog down the resources at some times and can be frustrating. For just email packages with Google services, it's OK.

Thank you.
Please do.
As per the response from gentech, all data gets purged after 48 hours. If you are signed up to the filter via an organization or reseller due example Tag or your community then they have access to that info into it gets deleted.

Techloq is under Gdpr rules.

Just to clarify Gentech is a very good product. Service is great, but in comparison to Techloq it`s not worth it
Techloq has:
Highest average response rate, with most times under two minutes
Image filtering, if wanted you could even request only on specific category's or none
Easy installation and changes...
A team of reps around the world most times in the day
Priced cheaper then Gentech

Gentech has:
Very good product
The highest price on average Windows filter
Great Tech support, But it takes more time....

My personal experience on my computer was great never had any BUGS, but now with Techloq nothing to compare
