Not having much luck with filters these days. I find each filter company is worse than the next.

 Tried Purifeye-No good.
Netspark- Didn't work well for me.
What didn't you like about Netspark?

What didn't you like about Netspark?
In short, there's an option to pause the filter when needed, I made use of that option way to frequent because the filter didn't allow 80% of sites to work from apps ans webpages.
It's not called a filter when you literally block everything or dont block anything. I'm paying them so they can pre-filter everything for me. Not that I have to spend the whole day. Calling and chatting with them to unlock and to lock certain categories..
Yes, here and there that happens, which is OK. But not that the whole day I'm busy with it.  Unless an average user just uses email, and that's about it?

I have Netspark on my Android. I don't have the option to pause because its administered by TAG. I have no problem with too much blocking. Works very well. There were a few apps that acted up when I first installed it and I had to spend some time with them on the phone to get the setting right.

Sounds like Netspark is good if you mainly use apps or basic websites while not so great at filtering sites if you're a heavy web page user...

No. It just sounds like whoever set it up didn't take the time to understand his needs and set it up in a way that works for him.

TECHLOQ?
Looks like this filter is recommended for mobile users.

Tried purifeye, netspark, gentech. All no good and stops quite frequently blocking all access to the internet.
And I thought it was just me. Seems it's a common occurrence with others as well with those filters.

Now with techloq we shall try.

Anyone know if techloq can filter for one user but not filter at all for another user on the same computer?
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

How do you filter the Comma 3X?

Comma 3X is the latest version of an aftermarket driver assist device (like Tesla's Autopilot but for 250+ late model cars) and has LTE and WiFi connectivity. It can drive for hours without intervention.

It is designed to be used running the AGNOS (GNU/Linux 4.9.103+ aarch64) operating system with OpenPilot open source software.

Looking for a good alternative to Gentech for my Samsung phone. Any suggestions?
What are your issues with gentech?
I don't think there are any good filters that'll not have problems like that. Maybe when techloq makes an android/apple version.

Downloaded Techloq this week. So far it's the best of the bunch takes a few days to set up to your liking. But seems like the best filter I have yet to try.
Tried purifeye, Netspark and then Gentech for 3 months.

Each filter was worse than the next. And gentech was not to my liking. Slowed the phone down immensely and constantly paused my internet connection and when tried to refresh the app and update policy, the app would crash. Find it strange that they never bother to fix these issues and require you to call in 3 times a day. But let's leave that rant for another day.
Happy to see Techloq working ok so far.
I did it through tag which had a discount of $111 for a samasung device. Though I'll see how that turns out if they each send me to each other depending on the issue. Upside is I have two companies for support with my filter.

Now I'm wondering if there's anyway for me to get the gentech cost of $160 for the year back. Used my Amex Plat to pay for it.    Should you ask why i paid for a full year, simple,  after trying two different filter companies and both being horrific, I'm like gentech will probably be the best of the bunch from all. Paid for the year to get the best price. Not thinking that I'm going to turn it off after 3 months.
