I have Techloq with different filtering levels for different users tied to their windows login.

Do you happen to know if it's possible to add a second user to techloq and have that user's internet blocked completely? I can't find that info on techloq's website without actually purchasing the user.

You can make 2 users and have a custom profile for each so presumably you can change whatever options you want for that user.

100%, but a block plan is free so you don't need to purchase anything. Simply contact Techloq - call or use the contact form on their site or even just email - and they will add a block plan to your account with an install code for the computer it will be on.

That's what I was hoping for! So a block plan can coexist for another user on a computer where one user has the regular plan?

Slow down. You meant two users on the same computer? That you probably will have to pay for. I guess ask them directly.

it covers both the browser through an extension and the Android system as an app and also installs as a VPN to prevent anything from getting through that you don't want.It can block or alert certain categories with the option to blacklist or whitelist any app or site. It does not require a child google account

In my opinion its always better to get a paid for filter then a free one. The paid ones are much more reliable.

Intuitively, that feels true to me too, though there are plenty of free antivirus progams (for instance) that are far better than most paid programs, especially when they are from cmpanies like Microsoft and Google. I'm just wondering if there are shortcomings to Google's controls that you could point to specifically.

Nope, i dont know anything about googles filters. It's just a general rule.
Is there any reason you don't want to use the same filter that you use for your child?

maybe they have that option. Other than that, doubt there are any other carriers that have a block like that
