Check out their quite easy and powerful content restrictions.
Suggestion: Have someone else have the password (or half and half with a spouse) and do the following:
Lock installing apps + remove browser + add apps you need (possible rules: no games, no sports, no entertainment, etc.).
[Occasionally an app will have a built in browser/or need to access a certain website - just go back in to settings (with password) and add that website].
There is time restrictions and more features too.
(May not be enough for teenagers - consult your own advisers - this solution sure beats doing nothing and there is no excuse)

With Smart App Protector you have 2 options.
1) lock package installer, so no apps can be installed without the password.
2) auto lock new apps so they have to be unlocked by the password holder after installation
I enabled this setting and it working well so far!

Thanks.

What's a good free program that sends reports to a 3rd party?

There's definitely a solution, PUTPAC TAG and ask, they use smart app protector with settings left open.

I used opendns and was pretty happy with it  ( a few sites slipped through but overall it was pretty solid).
The problem is I just changed from Comcast to uverse and apparently open DNS doesn't work with uverse.
Has anyone figured out how to make it work with uverse?
Anyone know of a router based solution that is either free like open DNS or relatively inexpensive?
Thanks
Bump

In app browsing?
limited adult content is not a solution.
it unfortunately leaves open to many sites that should have been closed
and closes to many sites that should stay open (amazon next day shipping ect.)

Problem with the white list is that it doesn't block everything.

Interesting, i've never tried the whitelist, do non white listed sites slip through?

I have a different problem, it's with blacklisted sites, if the link doesn't start with the name of the site (say something.blacklistedSite.com) it skips through at times.
