I'm occasionally getting messages that k9 can't connect to bluecoat...which doesnt allow me to access the page.. any reason why this is happening on pages that for sure should not be blocked by the filter?

If k9 can't connect it can't evaluate whether the page meets the standards you've set so it will just block it

Personally it only happens to me when my internet connection is down, usually right after I open the computer

I have k9 setup blocked video category added youtube to always block but it still allows it any suggestion?

i also think i remember that there were versions which didnt block https even when it was supposed to. update your k9 as well.

Do you have Avast antivirus? It can clash with K9.

It was not asked, tag installs the regular k9, I don't know if it works

I recently installed k9, and I find that web page loading is very slow. I get a message: resolving something or other. Is this because of k9? Is it unrelated? Any advice would be appeciated.
