I used the Windows easy option of disabling IPV6 from the wiki for a user and it worked not sure it would work for everybody but it is worth a try

You can try http://www.mozbot.com/
This search engine gives the same results as Google but does not offer the image reherche
Seeing that it can be undone, why not just disable using the browser settings?

Go Netspark for my Galaxy S6 and BH very happy with it. Completely customizable and very quick and polite support.

Does it slow down your phone or Internet?

Not that I've noticed. Sites that only work with https sometimes have issues though, as it thinks your connection is insecure due to the netspark VPN monitoring your traffic

If it's annoying, is it easy to Uninstall?

I have fast wifi and AT&T 4G LTE so never really noticed it being slowed down due to Netspark.

I like that they also let you set different filtering levels on each app separately. All in all an impressive filter for Android for only $30/yr.

Very interested in hearing of anyone had experience with any of these. I have a galaxy s6 and have yet to find a good filter that doesn't totally block me out of every stupid thing (settings, etc). I wish there was an intelligent filter like nativ has for pc
I like Net Nanny. You can set it not to block settings but if you can access settings you can disable any filter. Best is to download a settings app

Netspark allows you to access your settings but if you try to uninstall the filter without disabling it first from the online admin console, your phone will lock up and you can't get online at all

I like netnanny for its filter and amount of customization but it's way too easy to disable even without going through settings. So for that reason I'm probably going to be switching to netspark soon, I hope it's alot better

Netnanny does not need to be 'disabled' in order to gain access to an unfiltered browser...
Netnanny filters your phone the same way your pool-filter, filters the Atlantic. ..
Netnanny is a 'filtered browser' (and an ill one at that),
livigent & netspark are 'phone filers'.

Netnanny does block other browsers, and as u said its a filtered browser and one of the best that I've tried and ive tried alot of them, it's really good at filtering dynamic content and blocks sites that all the other " tag recommended filtered browsers" that I've tried allow.
Now that being said it, it takes me exactly 3 seconds to disable it and gain access to unfiltered browsers, So therfore I'm really excited to try netspark one of these days I've heard really great things about it.

Sorry for not replying sooner.
I did s/t similar to what you suggested: I changed to a public DNS server, as explained here:
http://www.webnots.com/correct-chrome-resolving-host-issue/
and here:
https://www.opennicproject.org/configure-your-dns/how-to-change-dns-servers-in-windows-7/
and here:

So far, it seems to have helped.
Thanks for your help.

Yes, very happy B"H took a few days to find out how to work with it
it does NOT slow down the computer...
Image filtering is amazing (a little to strict)
opening a normal site is instantly

I like Nativ. A bit more expensive than your average paid filter, but totally worth it. Their support is great and you can customize your filtering level to your needs by yourself without even having to contact them. You obviously can't allow anything you shouldn't, and good luck removing or bypassing it without wiping the entire OS.

If you have tech-savvy kids, I would recommend a BIOS password, so that they cannot boot an alternate OS using a usb stick (which is a lot easier than it sounds).

I used Nativ for a year and had several problems. The biggest was that every so often the browser would promt me to login-in to Nativ. I would log in and all my open tabs would be switched to the Nativ login page, so I lost all that work. I told them about it a few times, they'd say 'we're sorry', but the problem never went away.

The second problem is that like any good filter, you get pages blocked that shouldn't be -false positives. But they're CS is only open Monday-Thursday 9-5pm, the same time that I'm away at work. So I switched to Venishmartem VCF. Need to decide if I should switch back.

I also notice that in this long thread, Nativ is not mentioned much.
