If it's VPN based, does it already work with Android VPN framework?
When do they expect widespread android availability?
it works but the phone is not locked to the VPN. on the PC NetFree has a software caled WiFree that blocks unfiltered internet. this is not out for public use on android yet. there is no official release date. from what i understand it will be released as soon as NetFree is comfortable with the security of the software.

if the other devices use the VPN on the original device then technically it should work (you would have to install the security certificate on each device)
What do you mean security certificate? If I don't install that, the tethering won't work?

Like most filters, NetFree requires you to install the [urllink=https://netfree.link/wiki/Security_certificate]Security_certificate[/url]. this allows the computer to trust secure sites that were filtered by NetFree.

Any device that uses the filter needs the certificate installed.

I am very happy with truple https://truple.io/

It takes a screenshot every few minutes and you can blur it for privacy. It works on Android and Windows. I'm not in any way affiliated with it but I'll be happy to answer any questions.
Does it have a mechanism to prevent uninstaling?

It doesn't PREVENT uninstalling but it will NOTIFY your partner if you try to uninstall.

Does K9 still work if already installed?

Can it be reinstalled if uninstalled?

Does it make sense that Nativ slows down my system considerably?
I have a 7th gen Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, 256GB NVMe SSD and it takes close to 10 seconds to open file explorer...
I’ve tried reinstalling Windows but no different. The only thing I could think of was Nativ.

Had a friend with Nativ that two weeks ago his computer was basically freezing completely. After a check I found that the Nativ service (I think it is called NWMedia or something similar) was using like 5 GB of RAM the whole time.

He called Nativ and they were able to fix it (maybe an update, but not sure.)

Just a side note about NetFree, You get an X amount of credits each month to use, to have them review a website, it deducts from the credits depending on how important it is to you, and if you use up your credits and you need to send them more requests, you'll have to purchase more credits... IINM

correct. each user receives 16 points per computer (i.e. NetFree connection) per month and NEW site or video requests require the use of at least one point. the average user uses around 5 points per month. tech support or additional help within sites does not require the use of points.

I have gentech on my galaxy s8.
its great. filtered youtube, filtered twitter (lite) and doesnt slow down my phone.
they also has great customer support.

But its a fortune. 140 a yr per device.
I would love to get it on my pc as well but 140 a yr is a bit much for EACH device....

It doesn't PREVENT uninstalling but it will NOTIFY your partner if you try to uninstall.

A handful of users were requesting the ability to prevent uninstall.  So it's now an optional device setting for android devices (haven't gotten around to adding it to windows yet).

techloq.com is £69.49\year similar to Gentech not very strict and is recommended by TAG (PC only)
NetFree.link is ₪30.00\month (approx $96.00\year) but uses a different approach then Gentech and all sites are 100% kosher without compromise and is recommended by TAG (as of now PC only)

Good. But keep in mind that since they have officially released an uninstaller for it (without need for the password) it is an even easier thing to just remove quickly now.

Can a K9 license be reused multiple times?
