Suggestion: Have someone else have the password (or half and half with a spouse) and do the following:
Lock installing apps + remove browser + add apps you need (possible rules: no games, no sports, no entertainment, etc.).
[Occasionally an app will have a built in browser/or need to access a certain website - just go back in to settings (with password) and add that website].
There is time restrictions and more features too.

Then you really didn't think through it at all. The appeal of it is very simple in that it teaches self-control.

The problem is that teenagers are not likely to be able to exercise such constant self-control as you seem to be expecting even with telling them a magic sentence.
No that's obvious. I don't think that is the full reason why I find it appealing. It definitely doesn't articulate it clearly.

I guess we have different views of the capabilities of young adults.

Anyone here tried Circle with Disney?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019RC1EI8/

Good price for it, seems like it filters each device as you want but only on wifi, to filter data it needs a paid subscription.
It can also set time limits per device.
I havent used it yet.

Very interesting. Possibly a great filtering solution for all those people that gave their kids fire tablets to play games on at home.

if the other devices use the VPN on the original device then technically it should work (you would have to install the security certificate on each device)

what do you mean by security certificate? If I install vpn on my iOS device i.e (I install ExpressVPN for iOS) it wouldn't work directly ? do I need to install any security certificate with that if yes then what it would be because I never heard or read about that..

since internet filters review secure (https) pages, they need to send them to the end user using their own certificate (not the original) therefore the users must install the certificate to be trusted by the device.

I am pretty sure you can block the ability for a user to add a network

I would like to filter my user account on a Windows server but I can't install a filter on the server as it is shared. What is the best program that I can install just on my user account for a whitelist (I have admin rights)? I access the server over RDP and I have Gentech installed on my local machine so I don't need content filtering on the server, just a few sites open.

Install truple.io on your local machine and it'll capture the remote session as well. I personally use it like this.

Is there any filter that can filter based on trade? For example; I'm an electrician, is there a filter that will allow stuff that affiliated with electricians and block all the other trash?

If i plan on trading in my iphone by verizon, do i need to bring it to Tag to “unTAG” it before going, or can the Verizon store override the filter?
The only filter it has, is the built in filter and Tag has the password
TIA
