Lock installing apps + remove browser + add apps you need (possible rules: no games, no sports, no entertainment, etc.).
[Occasionally an app will have a built in browser/or need to access a certain website - just go back in to settings (with password) and add that website].

Yes. Even US.
It is a new feature so it is possible that they didn't update the entire website.
Do you have a link?

From what i understand you install it as a regular device and then you change to Gmail only afterword.
Try to call them. +1-718-400-8838

I currently have family link on my phone. Anybody know of a way to access other gmail accounts besides for the one my phone is set up with?

You are only able to have one account signed in, and you can't access from the browser because incognito is blocked. Any ideas??

Is there a way to filter Telegram? Or block the channels?

There is an option in the app to add a school account. I don't know if that lets you add regular gmail accounts, tarb.
If you just need the email, not the other g suite apps, you can use another email inbox app and sign into the account there

It appears that you can only add additional G-suite emails.
I guess getting another email app isn't a bad idea, I personally prefer the Gmail app.
Any email app recommendations?

You can use my DNS server. It blocks all social media sites (except Twitter for now) and some other bad sites.

DNS Servers:
DNS Server primary: 185.228.168.205
DNS Server secondary: 185.228.169.205

Thanks! I figured out how to change the DNS settings on my laptop. Does this block more than the DNS settings of OpenDNS? https://www.opendns.com/setupguide/#familyshield

Another question - does anyone here have feedback about what is the best filter for a work computer? I want to block anything inappropriate but not make it slow down. I would use Techloq but wondering if the VPN using a UK IP from Israel would slow it down, especially if downloading or uploading large files sometimes. Also, I usually have many Chrome tabs open (100+). I would consider getting WebChaver instead. Main thing is to have something on the computer so it is not a dangerous device...

TIA!

Thanks!

I've used techloq before. I had no trouble with regular browsing and couldn't tell a difference between filtered and non filtered in loading speed or computer performance Plus I heard customer service is pretty good

Although I did notice when downloading big files it was significantly slower than non filtered (to be specific I was usually downloading iphone software updates from apple)
My Tapatalk notifications don't always work.

Thanks! I set up Techloq on the laptop. Seems fine BH. The tech support is great, usually very fast response. Easy to set up, has a bunch of categories to select Allow or Block, add your apps you use that need access to the web. From my experience, when you need to request an exception/change to filtering/blocking, they are pretty prompt (depends on the time, if they have people on call).

As for speed, I just checked and it has a 78 ms ping, 66 Mbps download, 1.9 upload, so actually much faster download than I normally have, from their server to the test server. Not sure what that means for the speed of loading from their server to my pc, but it does seem to be fine BH.

a chain is only as strong as its weakest link

What speed do you get without the filter? And then match it up with the filter to see the difference

1. I pay for 100/100 and have several devices on my network.
2. Currently I don't have any device without the filter B"H but when i did test it the results were nearly identical.

Just want to say that in the past I have complained about netsparks speed on my phone. B"H it has been much better the past year. They must have fixed something.

Correct. In most cases it does not relate to the filter (although the filter is an easy scapegoat). It can be caused by antivirus, network issues, bad reception, interference and many other causes.
