Hello,
I had Techloq installed on my laptop to start using when working remotely. (recommended by my local TAG office) I need to login to my company's VPN, and then remote connect to my desktop. I've been having issues all along the way. I called Techloq once, and they managed to fix it, but then when I tried it again a week later, it didn't work again. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm also having issues numerous times of picking up open WIFI networks (private and public). Does anyone know of this issue? Would you recommend switching filters? If yes, any specific one?

I'm not familiar with their support. I'd try reaching out to them again.

With the filter I use (NetFree) they can typically fix this type of issue quite easily.

With Techloq, you can get one user with internet access and the other a Block All. You can log in to the user inside windows, or you can make another windows user and have it automatically mapped so one log in (with password) has internet and the other log in will be block all.

I got Techloq on all my computers, home and work, based on advice I got here on this thread.

Call again and ask for assistance.

Afaik techloq is not compatible with VPNs. Many filters are not, because they are basically using a VPN to route all your internet through them.

This is completely incorrect.

1. Techloq is not a VPN.
2. A device CAN be connected to multiple VPNs or network connections at once.

Having established that you must understand that:
1. Public/Privacy VPNs will NOT be opened by filters because they will bypass the filter
2. Even workplace/Private VPNs will have to be configured to take only local connections so that it isn't a conflict to the filter. (And obviously will have to be opened specifically by the filter.)

Happy to be corrected. I didn't know one can be connected to multiple VPNs simultaneously.

Best place to filter a Google Pixel 4A? Looking for a place that does it, not a DIY solution.

NetFree is not free. It was free until about 6 years ago. Since then it costs:
In Israel the filter is ISP based and the filter costs 15 NIS.
Outside Israel: The USA and UK servers price is 30 NIS (appx 8.5 USD) and the France server is 20 NIS.

There are discounts if you block specific categories like if you block the addictive websites as well as the foreign opinion and cultures then the price is reduced to 10 NIS (appx 4 USD) both in and outside Israel.

Correct.

NetFree is non-profit.
(the reason they charge for the filter at all is to be able to provide top quality support 24/6)

i use netfree. the reason they are so cheap is because they are a non profit. they actually have a place to donate ;D. If you don't mind not being able to see pics/videos of women, no social media or entertainment (games, etc.), and having to wait for all pics/websites to be checked the first time you see them, then netfree is the best.

its allowed (obviously if i'm responding to you). but all pics must be checked manually (usually takes about a minute or less) and all videos must be requested to open them individually and that takes longer, between 1-10 hours, and any woman, violence, entertainment is blocked.
