You can't control your open sites/categories with Techloq? Or are you part of a community group that manages it for you?
The categories are
Quote
Blocked Web Category: "Mixed Content/Potentially Adult"
 Locked Web Category: "Search Engines/Portals"
Which are not categories you can change allow...
Maybe if I message them, I just never needed it enough, I just mentioned it here because I thought it was relevant.

Search engines are definitely not blocked for everyone.

Correct, but if you wanted to just allow that entire category, they wouldn't allow. You would need to either request a specific page, or contact them to allow specific sites from that category.

That was not my experience with them, but maybe things changed.

Techloq is the best filter out there, atleast for me.
I was having issues, I didn't reach out for help, and I was frustrated, last night I created a ticket, and they responded with full knowledge of the situation and how to fix it, and now everything works for me.

moral of the story, reach out for help when you need help.

Techloq is now blocking any link I take from Google Flights to the actual flight purchase page, and even though I can get approval, the link breaks and you get an error page. Is anyone else having this issue?
I tried unblocking the category first - it is Analytics or something - and it was rejected.
I tried unblocking the link directly and then going again from the flights page, and a new block page showed up.

I wish it was that easy. Many sites don't work properly. And blocking every site is not a filter. They should have the sites pre-filtered. Meaning if I request a site to be unblocked it shouldn't come back oh it's not categorized so it's only allowed for 15 minutes and then I come back Tom and have to deal with the same issue.  Every time a user request for a site to be unlocked they should work on an AI feature where it sends that web page to be categorized not that every site comes back blocked and locked as uncatorgarized.  Issue #1.  I can vent about the issues and flaws in the filter. But I don't seem to get anywhere, though they had someone call me back a few weeks ago. Not sure what he was going to do for me.

Random q. Can someone with techloq try to sign into the starbucks app while using the techloq filter and see if it works? Can't seem to sign in via the app. Only via the chrome browser.

it depends on your provider /reseller they make these decisions when a site is uncategorized, i myself have this issue when requests come in and I'm not sure what kinds of sites they're

Techloq through tag. Still doesn't answer my issue. They don't bother categorizing it.

I've gotten feeds on feedly blocked from loading by Techloq. It is fairly common with The Onion and with Ynet (maybe the Bee also?), but never happened with any other feed until today: MIT Technology Review.  :o

Edit your computer's DNS settings maybe.

I'm looking for a filter, mainly for my kids. Like I should have full control over it - not emailing tag and waiting to hear back. Any suggestion what would be best?

Also, do they have AI built into simple machines forums that could answer that question?
