Suggestion: Have someone else have the password (or half and half with a spouse) and do the following:
Lock installing apps + remove browser + add apps you need (possible rules: no games, no sports, no entertainment, etc.).
[Occasionally an app will have a built in browser/or need to access a certain website - just go back in to settings (with password) and add that website].
There is time restrictions and more features too.

DH Data Recovery, any updates if Livigent Meshimer filter did or can do live updates to fix the simple command to disable the filter so far it doesn't look like they did.

I think this is already a small problem lately I hear the problems they are having I wish them good luck.

k9 is easier to bypass. I also recommend smart app for other features as well, such as locking any app, locking wifi, locking new apps etc.

thanks for the response.
k9 and netnanny require you to use their browser which limits a lot of my phone/apps.
Anyone have a recommendation for a monitoring program that allows me to use chrome and doesn't limit integration of browser and navagation/phone etc?
Thanks

What's a good filter for a android phone /tablet? I have seen some use net nanny with Firefox but I can't figure out how to install it and I'm not sure that it's worthwhile?
Thanks

Either k9 (free) or netnanny. Of course, you would probably want to download smart app protector, to lock the browser and play store.

I don't like ranger pro simply because it has issues on some devices which makes it impossible to set up.
Regarding installation, I recommend TAG or GYE; if no other choice, find a knowledegable friend.
Whether a filter is worthwhile or not, depends if you want the device in question to be filtered or not.

I still haven't found a half decent filter for the iPad, where you can still use the stock browser (not the useless K9 browser, I hate that thing)

Mobiflock seems good. There's a free and paid version of it.
Never used it though.

Other issues with Mobicip

1. Browser doesn't save web login details.
2. Does not understand .htaccess generated password fields   ???

Meshimer filter for mobile was down yesterday throughout the day they had no backup, unbelievable. I guess it was another bug with Livigent.
