I had this done to me by a himisha computer technician guy, whom I trusted with all our computers and what not, the next thing I knew was that guy stole most of our data, and shamelessly opened a competition to us

Welcome to the forums, care to elaborate? I for one don't believe you. You seem to have had an ax to grind already further up in this thread.

Like I care if you believe me or not.... "Care to elaborate".... what exactly would you like to hear? names or what? Where I come from (the chasidic community)its something that sadly happens too often... Yingalite learning the business where they're hired to work and then venture out for themselves

NO, of course not, he stole our Quickbooks data that included our vendors and customers among other sensitive company records

Ok, I can see now why you would think that, as I replied to a post about spying software.... I'm sorry, my bad. I meant to say I had a similar situation going on

While this wont absolutely prevent the problem, having employees sign a strongly worded confidentiality and no-compete agreement can act as a deterrent and prevent them from getting any ideas. Even if its a "Heimishe" company with "Heimishe" yingelight. They will know that you take this seriously.

Despite what @myuser keeps saying - livigent has no access to peoples data. Anyone that reads this sign sees its talking about something completely different. This is basically people pretending to put on filters and instead steal your data. This is an issue anytime you bring a computer to any tech for repairs!

Very dishonest of you to twist this into your anti-livigent campaign, anyone installing K9 can do the same thing!! This is an issue with the tech not with the software!

The post has 2 sections the first is about that notice the second is about the product which I believe can do the same I never said they are doing it.

By the way did they fix the bug to disable the filter? I don't think so.

And what happens when the gov't decides that you also shouldn't be reading about XYZ.
Seems like a slippery slope.

If you can't handle the temptations then get a filter but why should the government be getting mixed into filtering?
The Goverment has been filtering TV and Radio for decades, and they still haven't gone down the slippery slope there.

I also take issue with "If you can't handle the temptations then get a filter ". Al taamin beatzmecha ad yom moscha.

Today marks a sad day for @myuser as VCF releases an automatic update that fixes a flaw found in their filter. This saddens some people campaigning against this filter and trying to portray it as the root of all evil. As we speak people are installing this update and doing their best to get around this filter so they can again determine that this "scam" is just a way to steal money and identities. I eagerly await the next wave of "unbiased" reviews that were so helpful in the past.

DH Data Recovery, Free K9 installed by TAG is still the best choice and the way to go.

Little negative feedback is because nobody is using it, so far they only changed some naming so it's the same joke, do I have to post it to prove it?
