Just returned 2 suits that I bought at the end of last year and first they refused to take them back but after some fighting with managers they agreed but are only willing to give me merchandise credit and not my original form of payment

In the past I have had shirts that frayed so I sent them back and they sent me replacements. Did they stop that now that they changed the return policy?
