Anyone with experience on a gift card order cancelled by Jos a bank? Do they refund the original card, or send out a replacement card?

The store near me recently gave me this whole run around about if it's not a store purchase the they won't accept returns. I think it's them just being really protective about shipping costs dipping into their store revenues.

It's more than that, it might lower their overall sales numbers, which would be much worse.

Lakewood/Howell location had no problem.

one time, the store in manhattan took the return, but he was whining to me how its hurting his store. i was very taken aback and thought it was very unprofessional of him to do that.

JAB insisted that i return in store, and said they couldn't arrange return shipping when they sent me the wrong item. I never got around to disputing the charge.

I called them on Erev Shabbos, so didn't really have time. Their wait time is ridiculous. Hopefully I'll call them back. I'm aiming for $99.50 in store credit, being as that's the list price of the item, even though i paid closer to $10.

Definitely true. Their stores have never been busy when I was there. It must really eat a chunk out of their overall sales.
