racking up small transactions
« on: March 26, 2014, 05:09:53 PM »
I have to fill a certain transaction quota and would like to know if anyone knows how I can rack up about 100 1 penny transactions on my card.

I would be willing to pay up to 7 cents for each of these charges.

I use square for this purpose but their transaction minimum is $1 and I don't do 100 at a time on one card.  They'll take 2.75%.

This would be a very good plan of action - I actually looked into this, but found 1 or 2 items for a penny every day.

Do you know of any way to do some advanced search to filter out all items ending @ less than 10 cents?

There's a specific web site for the 1 cent things on eBay. Forgot the name.

What's the difference? He said he needs to fill a transaction quota.
If you don't care why would you comment?

I don't know what your frame is but you can self checkout at a grocery 1 item at a time you can also buy gas in very small intervals  in NYC you can add small amounts to your MetroCard

Look for things you already buy that can broken up into smaller transactions

From the "amex everyday" page:

Use your Card 20 or more times on purchases in a billing period and get 20% more points on those purchases less returns and credits. Terms and limitations apply.
