Is buffalo trace kosher? I know there are a couple distilleries owned by Jews

They don't sell most of their חמץ for פסח.(Heaven Hill does). AYLOR

Oh interesting. Thought it was a one time thing.

Was just thinking, the fact that they do a kosher run really makes the regular stuff a problem.

I'm curious what the kosher run entails. Isnt the issue chometz sh'avor ? What do they do, just kasher the equipment? It isnt like Angles envy where the barrels are the problem.

Not following. They decide to do a kosher run, now they sell these barrels while being stored for min two years to non jew exec until bottle ready? Or do they only sell those barrels for each pesach?

As soon as they are produced they are sold. Therefore being owned by non jews while being aged over pesach

I think those barrels are only sold to the non jew every year before Pesach
