Santander bank question
« on: April 02, 2014, 06:48:40 AM »
I deposited money in to Santander bank 2 days ago in a mix of cash and checks.
Yesterday it told me that it was posted (not pending anymore) yet it only showed that a 10th of the money posted which was part of the cash this morning I opened it up and all the cash is available but not the checks.
Does anyone have experience with this?
I know I can call them just since my wife is gonna have to do it bcs I just joined her account so I can't do anything for a week and she is very busy it would be way easier if someone would be able to help me without calling.

Usually cash is available immediately. Checks usually aren't available until they clear, which takes several days. However, most backs will make a portion of the money available before then.

The checks usually take about 3 business days. Part becomes available after 1 business day

It depends on many factors. How long the account has been open is one of them.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half
