Is he a righty or lefty ? The mets could probably use him.
Too funny. Nope hes still waiting for Seaver Koozman Matlock and McGraw to come out of retirement to replace Colon

Looks like the Mets are down to their last 5 healthy players.
Might want to try High Schools for pitchers with their budget!

Just think Mets don't have a very good support system for their players
They want so badly to beat the Yankees . Look what happened to Feliciano a few years ago.
Mets burned him out so by time he came to Yankees he was shot.

The injuries the last few years to all teams is insane.

The pitchers I hear the problem is they aren't building arm strength anymore as kids in say high school. These inexperienced coaches who just want to win let these kids throw as hard as they want and as many innings as they cam. Its a real problem. I thought they were addressing situation. Other problem is steroids taken at an early age leading to multiple bone and cartridge issues as they get older. Until these areas are cleaned up no ones worth the money until they start taking care of their bodies properly

I hear. I just don't see how any coach will win if half of his star players are out.

I disagree. I think that the fact the coaches are so worried about protecting pitchers nowadays is not like it was back in the day. Nowadays pitchers are afraid to go past 5-6 innings. Look back in history all the great pitchers were bulldogs who most of the time pitched 8-9 innings no problem. There was no such thing as middle relief.

Some of them are breaking apart after 2 innings. No way to get them to 8-9. A lot of those bulldogs had short careers

Im talking about in High School and lower school where the kids are getting damaged first. By time they get to major leagues their arms are spent. Pressure from coaches and parents to make the big money someday . I read articles about this as a growing trend and problem for athletes.

I got a great idea!!!!!!

Just have the Tommy John surgery before you start pitching. Get it out of the way early!
