Great question, Count! I bet you're used to seeing those boxes of Manishewitz for a few dollars a box at the grocery store.

What these guys are talking about is handmade stuff. Every phase of the process from reaping the wheat to kneading the dough is done the old fashioned way, no machines. It's a tedious process. Lots and lots of labor. If you could do it in China, I suppose it would be much cheaper. Hey! I just got an idea!!!!!

Right, but she didn't have someone with a stopwatch timing 18 minutes from when the flour gets wet.
It's a whole process. It's not normal baking.

No, its a special oven only used for baking Matzah. It doesnt take long for it to be baked.

No, you watched the video. A regular oven would bake too slowly. The need these roaring hot brick ovens. The actual baking takes two minutes.
