That's how they advertise it here. Probably done with extra chumras.

Ironically, if you buy Rosh chaburah matzos, you're most likely getting the chaburah rejects. So you end up with matzos that on all levels except for shehiyos are less mehudar.

But instead of trying to fix it they told the person that received it to try and sell it locally. I just spoke to him and he still has about 2/3 of my order left, which he will be shipping back to me, and he will try to recover the rest of the matzos that he sold (including TR!)

Luckily I insisted that my matzos be double packed (2lb corrugated boxes inside the larger box) rather than just the usual paper wrapping inside a large box. So hopefully they arrive intact (and on time 🥺).

Makes me feel guilty for picking up my fresh matzos today, no hassle, in and out.

1st oven, baked this week, CH bakery, $37/lb

(A relative knows someone higher-up there)
