Ask him if its broadway or Rutledge. You gotta go with Broadway. Never eat it straight out of the box though. as they may be a few months old especially if you get them from CLE. Put them in the oven for a few minutes, let it cool off and you will thank me. Not only does it get back the full crisp but its easy to chew and the thickness will only be a plus.

Another vote for charedim. By far the thinnest and I got 2 pounds of pupa Salem last year to compare.

You can just walk into the actual bakery and they will allow you and your kids to watch everything from the mixing, kneading to the actual baking. No touching anything though.

In regards to actual buying matzo at the bakery, from purim till pesach every day is baked by a chabura. But if there is any extra they will sell it to you. The closer you are to pesach the less likely they will have extra.

There is also a children's matzo bakery on Ocean parkway by Brighton Beach in a chabad shul/school if I remember correctly.

Its the taste i grew up on. I'm taking my kids in to the city every year when I'm going to bake and buy Matzos. (it's kids friendly, when they behave...)

They say the reason they have that great taste is because they are taking wheat from different locations like NY, Indiana, North Dakota, Kansas and more, and they playing around mixing them before milling. that the secret for the taste. also the water well where they take the water for Mayim Shaluni has a great taste.

I'm a fan of Lakewood myself (haven't tried many other) never heard if this thin one so I don't know

Saw that yesterday and had the same reaction. I can only imagine what my father paid at the bakery for whole ones. And KRM was almost sold out of those.

According to 1 of the workers it’s just the name, whatever that means. In his words “If you weren’t looking specifically for chareidem, don’t get it”.

Chareidim are by far the thinnest matzahs out there so I dont know what that is even supposed to mean.
