Had to cancel Avios mileage flight within 24 hours due to illness

I have a doctors note.  Where do I send it to?  Do I need to call first before emailing the note or is it just sufficient to email?

Thanks for reminding me how I got out of Gym class with a doctors note. Those were so POWERFUL in Elementary and High school. I love Doctor note.

I had a flight and had to change it to the next day, I had a doctors note as well, on the phone they told me I had to show it to the agent by the desk when I checked in i gave them the note adn they waived the fee..

Yes the flight was monday, I cancelled and didnt realize that I dont get back my points.

Yes, I rebooked a new ticket.  Its not about the fee.  Its about the points.

You called up to re book it? Just tell them what happened, (speak to a manager) and they should take care of it.
The manager just moved my flight over a day didn't charge me any points.

No, I cancelled the flight monday morning.  I then booked the other ticket a few days later for this coming monday online.  I have not called them yet.  But I do have a doctors note.

For the future - when you are within the 24 hours of a flight, don't cancel, change it first to a later date (pay the change fee) and then cancel.

Or just do as robbie did - call in and tell them you're sick and you wanna change the ticket for a later date.

at this point of re booking im guessing they will tell you to fax in a doctors note anyway.. speak to manager  thats forsure
