methods to empty a prepaid debit card with only cents left on it?

Any recommendations for ways to empty a debit card with only 5 cents left on it?  I figure I can use it at the grocery store and have them do multiple swipes, but somewhat embarrassing.

When I have a small balance on a GC, more than a nickle though, I keep it in my car for the munimeters (in NYC).

For just a nickle or less than a quarter, I would porbably use it at the greocer one at each shopping trip.

Doesnt negate the point of useless clutter. I'm happy to help but the fact is we have loads of clutter being caused by new threads. This question could easily have been posed in any existing thread dealing with GCs as it is...

Go to Dunkin Donuts. Pay with the gc and then the balance with your regular card.

AP is easiest. Just make sure that you put in the wrong expiration date so that they don't put a "hold" on the funds up to $1. Then go to your saved cards and put in the correct expiration date (they won't try another hold). Then send your money.
