Here's a cool website which I discovered recently which could come in extremely handy at times.
They basically work as the middle man for people who have non-refundable hotel reservations which they are unable to use and gives buyers the opportunity to get highly discounted (on top of the discount which the seller received) hotel rooms around the world. Once there is a interested buyer they would make a payment via Paypal to Cancelon, the seller would then call the hotel and make a name change and after the successful stay in the buyer's name Cancelon would pay the seller.
This is something which can very useful both as a buyer and seller (e.g. Priceline Name Your Own Price, Hotwire etc.)!
The real question is how long it will take before these websites lock these reservations on the hotel's side for any name changes (if they are able to at all).
Lots of glitches in the search but its really still too early to tell as I believe they are relatively new.
Anyone had any experience with them? Thoughts?
