We traveled as a group of Bochurim (= maximising free carry-on luggage allowances) a few times on easyJet and others a couple years back. We never had an issue with them or actually any low cost airline about carry-ons. Only had an issue with Wizzair in Vilnius Airport, and even then we got out of it somehow.

Can't vouch for any airline these days, as they may be more strict now.

In the past, when you booked bags for one way of a round trip on easyjet, it showed up on their system as bags for both ways. Anyone know if that still works?
