Transferring Points to Southwest
« on: April 07, 2014, 07:50:39 PM »
I have UA, SPG, and Amex MR point but need SW points.  None transfer directly but does anyone know a way to route points to SW from those programs?  I searched the forum and newbie threads but was unable to find an answer.

Thank you!

Why not build up chase points?

A VERY BAD value but here you go..

UA transfers to Marriott I believe.. Then Marriott to Southwest..

You can also redeem your Marriott RewardsŪ points for Rapid Rewards Points.
10,000 Marriott Rewards Points = 2,000 Rapid Rewards Points
20,000 Marriott Rewards Points = 5,000 Rapid Rewards Points
30,000 Marriott Rewards Points = 10,000 Rapid Rewards Points
70,000 Marriott Rewards Points = 25,000 Rapid Rewards Points
140,000 Marriott Rewards Points = 50,000 Rapid Rewards Points

Or Amex to Choice Hotels then Choice Hotels to Amex

Rapid Rewards Members can also redeem 6,000 Choice PrivilegesŪ points for 1,800 Rapid Rewards Points.

Thanks!

I found this site that calculates transfers, it suggested:
SPG --> Amtrack --> Choice Hotels --> Southwest
15,000 SPG becomes 13,500 SouthWest

Uh oh..

Oops.  Removed the offending post, sorry about that.  I'd appreciate if you could remove the quote. I really didn't mean to break a rule.

if u want there will be plenty of ppl who would swap with you at far better value than that
also itll take time for each of those transfers to post

I know, the transfers would take too long.  Swapping is not allowed to be discussed on this board though.

Re-read the earlier posts. Chase UR does transfer to Southwest (OP is just 15k short)
UA and MR do not transfer.

*The only points Chase has is UR.
