I was going to ask if you were joking after your previous post, but you saved me the trouble
What's the issue? It seems to be an easy way to make $$$, and all of it for a great cause.
I want to clarify that this Rosh Yeshiva didn't put this together. He seems to be a target as well.
just remember today any guy could open a yeshiva get 6 bochurim and call himself a rosh yeshiva. I understand thats the kind of rh we are talking about
Says who? He CLAiMS he invested 500k? Maybe he IS the scammer. Forget that, maybe your friend is in cahoots with him.
Unfortuneately there are a whole bunch of yeshivos involved, i personally know two of the Rosh Yeshivos involved and while one of them is pretty young (low 40's) I believe that they are both chashuva wonderful honest people! Before we cast stones at people, lets try and get some facts! There hasn't even been any actual scam (yet)!
Trying to get people to put a lot of their own money into what is at best a get-rich-quick scheme is a scam in and of itself. What you mean is that there hasn't yet been credit card fraud. A little patience, and that will come too.
+100How will the Rosh explain when everyone is in 25K debt due to this scam?
