1) I know Rabbi Sapirman is close to and is guided by Rav Shloime Miller. Rav Mattisyahu gave his Haskomah because of Rav Shloime's recommendation as is stated clearly in his Haskomah.
2) Im not making excuses, I was just wondering why the language seemed to be so strong given the facts that I know.
3) I sat through an 8 hour training course for mechanchim and you are wrong; He does NOT walk into schools and propose questions, he DOES offer chizuk presentations for students which often end with extended Q&A sessions where he offers answers to the questions the students have (they do have questions btw, he doesn't propose anything). And this is not his main focus at all, the CD's and training courses are not for kids, they are for parents and educators (as you so beautifully pasted above), perhaps have a listen before ranting.

And btw Harav churnbabychurn, just because this is a "pet peeve" of yours and that you decided that "Er shmeked mir nisht" (as you stated earlier) doesnt mean its a mitzvah to publicly crusade against anyone especially when you are uninformed about the facts of the matter.

The premise of the organization is that emuna peshuta is dead.
I have nothing against him personally, I don't even know him. I was referring to the organization.
And they do focus on q&a sessions with teens.

Yes, so they seek to refresh it. Nothing to do with Chakira!
See the FAQ's from the training course http://animaamin.org/news/kids-need-it-you-can-do-it-learn-to-teach-emunah/

“Chakira” is assur. How is this different?
Our program is tightly focused on basic precepts such as the existence of a Creator and the truth of Matan Torah, topics discussed prolifically in the works of Chazal. Esoteric issues are strictly avoided.

Because ch"v they should talk a little chasidus! Maybe the kids will realize that a Jew is not a cultural affiliation or even a religious identity, it's the essence of their identity -- a timeless, infinite, G-dly neshama that existed before the world and even existed (yikes!) before the Torah! Maybe they would then find out that the Eibershter created this world as His taaveh, not just l'tzareif es habrios so you could have the world's greatest self-help program and become a mushlam. Maybe they'd have to say the truth, that Hashem has this wild, romantic thing for Jews. No, better explain that a Torah life is a good way to achieve your own awesomeness. Lose 20 lbs., have fresh breath and whiter teeth. Yay!  ;)

Well, let's start by what it's not. Kefira is the lack of any kind of emunah, not the opposite of any kind of emunah.

The opposite of emunah peshuta is seichel. And yet, these opposites can co-exist in a wholesome way.

Just like it is inappropriate to try to use seichel to approach that which is fundamentally incomprehensible, so too is it a misuse of emunah to try to take on faith that which you are able to understand.

I just wanted to clarify those facts for the public, you can decide for yourself whether or not you like the organization, I would recommend you listen to at least one of his shiurim online before drawing your conclusion.

I will now be leaving this conversation as I do not have the time to continue responding.

I wish you all the best and a kosheren Pesach  :)

Oh come on, Lechayim. We all know the real reason why you won't be posting on this thread anymore. It's because you know that JS threads don't add to your post count.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

(Sorry, just a silly DDF joke.)

I had that comment removed. I shouldn't have made such a comment in a public forum....it seemed to personal.

It never happened.
I removed my quoting your shmekt comment, but you quoted me above, please delete.

I dont believe he ever says anything that can be said al regel achas  ;)

He is elaborating on the transmission of emuna and what miracles are for etc...
I would say that the "Vort" of the schmooze, is that our emuna is more a work on our "depth of knowledge", something that is ingrained from sini, just needs additional ingraining as opposed to intellectual scientific facts that need, or can be proved. Bekitzur, what we are saying...

Is there anyway I can find that shiur somewhere. I've always been into this subject.

If someone has a clear picture of the entire macha letter please post. The one at the begging of the forum is partly cut off.
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

In the shiur he mentioned quantum mechanics and the double slit experiment. Truly amazing stuff.. (You can see this video that explains the double slit experiment if interested:

Basically, Science still has a lot to learn. Wow!

There was once an article in one of the magazines explaining this double split thing thru the Torah, I can't remember what he said.
