I requested an Uber early Sunday morning for a ride home from a party I went to. Driver was 13 minutes away and started heading in my direction, when he was 4 minutes away I saw through the app that he missed the turn ans started going the wrong way, so I called to redirect him and he was back on the right way a few minutes later. We hung up and I saw him turn around and head back towards me that all took about an extra 10 minutes that I was waiting outside.
When he was 3 minutes away, he cancelled on me.
I requested another Uber and had to wait another 10 minutes outside for the new car to come. 5 minutes later while waiting for my new ride, I saw my original Uber car pull up (recognized the license plate) and the driver had a different job that he took instead of me. He wouldn't even acknowledge that he "screwed me" and took somebody else when he came all the way out there for me.
I haven't reached out to Uber yet, anything else I should include or are the details above enough for a case?
I feel I deserve compensation for waiting.
