Also keep in mind they are driving on the opposite side of the road as the U.K.  so I wouldn’t take the risk
That's not a big deal for me. Did it for a month in Australia.

Is it dumb to book a free Wyndham stay (+fees) at the Atlantis just to have access to the waterpark there for a day if we're staying at the GH?

It's about $60 in fees for a day. I think it'll be nice to have a room to change in etc as opposed to paying for just the waterpark as a guest of another hotel.

Also, you get $100 in free slots play. You can only cash out the winnings, but shouldn't he hard to win $60 from $100 to make back your money.

Did you stay there? Is the waterpark worth it? Any booking notes?

Are you talking about the Free nights from the platinum status match? If yes then it would be a waste of 3 nights that you wont be able to use ever again. Also the hotel has a changing area with showers (I think but can't remember 100%) and rooms which is very ideal for getting the kids dressed/changed. It is located right outside the royal tower on the way down to the water park. In terms of the waterpark it was awesome and highly recommended for your kids and even for you to have a lot of fun in. The river rapids were amazing and there are plenty of great slides as well as an entire kiddy section that your youngest would be able to enjoy. IDK how much a day pass would cost but if not breaking the bank I would say to definitely do it. We spent 3 full days just sitting by the waterpark and pools and loved it.

Seems like Aquaventure day passes would run about $500 for us.  That's free with the status match nights, right?

So, $55 for 1 night.
Seems like a no-brainer to me? What else am I missing? Can you use the waterpark on the day of checkin and checkout?

What time of day? Wouldn't you need to kill 2 nights so you have the room before and after? Or do you just want it for the park in which case it doesn't matter what day you book it?

Can't put 3 kids and 2 adults in one room, you need a band to be in the park, so it will be 2 rooms.

Staying at the GH, so no real need for the room.

What about 2 kids and a toddler under 3?
