Baha Mar charges $77 per way for pick up, I went out and took a taxi and we agreed on a price before I got into the taxi. I paid $25

In Baha Mar I understand there is a Kosher restaurant with pretty decent food. I also heard you can buy food for breakfast and lunch from a different location in the Hyatt, anything good or should I bring along food for breakfast and lunch. Also, fruits and vegetables are not officially allowed in so how would I buy fruits and vegetables there, any tips?

All the kosher food comes from and is packaged in Cinko. Cafe Madeline carries a few different options of sandwiches for breakfast/ lunch. Available from in room dining as well. A bit expensive. A cream cheese bagel for example is $18 plus VAT and service charge.
There's a supermarket nearby forgot the name. U can try bringing in fruits and vegetables, by me there was no customs and no one asking questions.

I was there two weeks ago and surprisingly it was pretty quiet...   not quite Brooklyn... :)
Yeshiva Week is when it will (most probably) be packed.

@Chaim723 @Samy1716, how does Bahamar handle testing when arriving at the resort?

I'm checking in as a second-guest (primary guest won't make it) and I'm staying with my wife and 3 young kids (all under 6) in a room with an official capacity of 2 (even though it's a one-bedroom suite). Normally, I would check in myself and then bring the rest of my family up to the room after. Does each person being tested need to be assigned a room?

Once you arrive at the resort, they show you to an area in the lobby where they do the testing. (it's quick and easy) After taking the test, you can check in and wait for the results in your room. They send it via email, it usually take 20-30 minutes to get the results.

But what happens if a person who gets tested doesn’t have a room assigned to them? Will that raise a red flag?

To get tested upon arrival at the resort (prior to check-in) all you need to do is, fill out online (via QR code) some of your basic info and then they call you once they have all your info for the test.

The form doesn't ask for a room number. You put in your email and they send you the results. They assume you're staying in the resort but they have no way of actually knowing.

I just heard from someone that the Bahamar is issuing bands to guests for access to certain parts of the property (unsure for what exactly). Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Yes they give bands. It's basically only to get into your room and the water park. All the doors in the resort aren't locked.

Do young kids need bands as well?
