thank you .
We are planning to go there this thursday for 5 days with a 2 year old toddler. how is the super market there for food/snacks options. how is cinko with toddlers ? kids friendly ? what type of food you guys would suggest to pack with me to take from NY?
appreciate all suggestions.
dont take meats unless you organize with customs before. they have sniffing dogs and if u dont declare it can be problematic
cinko is a sit down restaurant. casual and not formal. they have kids menu options as well if i recall correctly. if your kids rent the type to run around and cause havoc in the kitchen, then u should be fine. it is also a vacation destination and people are more laid back and understanding.

What items at Baha Mar are kosher other than the restaurant?
Has someone checked the mixed drink mixes? What about ice cream/ milk-shakes? I know it is not being monitored and I have to check again, but wondering what others have found so far.
Thanks

It seems like bagels and bread is kosher at baha mar but the same place serves ham. How does that work?

The chabad rabbi told me all the bagels are made from a single kosher bagel machine. So an unsliced bagel should be okay... can always check for yourself

No, I spoke to them recently and this isn't being offered. Perhaps we can try and get something in the works if there is enough demand (even something basic like coffee and some pastry).

You can get coffee, fruits and cereal etc. from the regular non kosher breakfast

Incorrect. When I was there they had bagels with cream cheese Cholov Yisroel (J&J cream cheese). You could buy it through room service or from Cafe Madeleine.

Thanks. That's now. They've had a minyan every day for two weeks. I don't know hot it'll be in late August.

But I have joined the Whatsapp group and filled this out: https://www.jewishbahamas.com/minyan

If I plan on mostly staying at the resort, do I have to bring any cash with me or does everyone accept CCs? How about taxis?
